On July 1, Wayne’s Temple Beth Tikvah welcomed Cantor Emily Simkin as its new full-time cantor and bar/bat mitzvah teacher.
Cantor Simkin studied at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and at Berklee College of Music. She is known for her voice, her knowledge of liturgy and all things Jewish, her guitar playing, and her personality. For information on the shul, go to www.templebethtikvahnj.org.
